Ph.D Programs

The University in its first two years has concentrated on its basic activity of teaching and imparting skills to the students but a University is known for contribution it makes in research in contemporary and relevant areas of national importance and in the frontier areas of science and technology. The University must generate useful knowledge. This is prime area of importance for the University.

The University should also generate facilities and develop training centre for adjoining industries and serve their need. Keeping this in mind and understanding need for higher degree programs, the University from its session 2011-12 has opened the admission in Ph. D. programs in selected subjects of the Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Business Management, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Arts& Commerce.

As per the UGC guidelines, the Ph. D. programs have a one year (two semesters) course work as essential component and the admission to the Ph. D. program will be based on admission test which will be conducted through after due advertisement in Newspapers. The Ph. D. program has been initiated in selected subjects (as listed below) based on expertise available. The seats for admission in Ph. D. program are limited.
