Status of the University

ARNI University, Kangra Himachal Pardesh has been estabilished by Act (No. 23 of 2009) of state Legislature of Himachal Pardesh as a State Private University and is empowered to award degree specified by UGC under section 22 of UGCAct 1956. To view Click Here

The University vide the ruling of Hon’ble Courts order, being a University, does not require approval from AICTE, New Delhi  to start engineering/technology/ management courses.

The power to grant approval for starting new technical institutions and for introduction of new courses or programmes in consultation with the agencies concerned is covered by Section 10(k) which would not cover a `University but only a `technical institution.
